Meet Mrs. Woodson

Hi!  Welcome to the wonderful world of 4th grade dual language.  My name is Mrs. Woodson, and I am so excited to teach reading, writing, and social studies in English and Spanish.  More importantly, I am thrilled to have you in my class this year!  We will have so much fun reading about different characters and their journeys, expressing our thoughts, opinions, and creativity through writing, and going back in time to learn all about Texas history. Get ready for some amazing classroom discussions and fun projects!  I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you.

This will be my 17th year in education.  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade.  I graduated from Lamar University in 2007 and was a member of the dance team and dance honor society.  Go CARDS!!

I started teaching at SJE in 2020 and plan to stay for a long time.  As they say, SJE is the place to be!

I hope you enjoy being a part of my class and that you love learning.  I am here for YOU.  We will have a great year!

¡Hola! Bienvenido al maravilloso mundo de lenguaje dual de cuarto grado. Mi nombre es Sra. Woodson y estoy muy emocionada de enseñar lectura, escritura y estudios sociales en inglés y español. Más importante aún, ¡estoy encantada de tenerte en mi clase este año! Nos divertiremos mucho leyendo sobre diferentes personajes y sus viajes, expresando nuestros pensamientos, opiniones y creatividad a través de la escritura y retrocediendo en el tiempo para aprender todo sobre la historia de Texas. ¡Prepárate para increíbles debates en el aula y proyectos divertidos! No puedo esperar para conocer a todos y cada uno de ustedes.

Este será mi año número 17 en educación. He dado clases de 2°, 3° y 4° grado. Me gradué de la Universidad de Lamar en 2007 y fui miembro del equipo de baile y de la sociedad de honor de baile. ¡¡Vamos CARDS!!

Comencé a enseñar en SJE en 2020 y planeo quedarme por mucho tiempo. Como dicen, ¡SJE es el lugar para estar!
