Meet The Teacher

I am excited to begin my 17th year teaching in DPISD. San Jacinto Elementary has been my home for the last 15 years. This will be my second year serving as the Special Education Department Chair for SJE. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University, and was a Licensed Social Worker before deciding to teach. I hold a certification in Special Education, EC-12, and I am a member of the Association of Texas Professional Teachers.
