Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Kara Lewis and I am so excited to be your child's math and science teacher this school year! 

I grew up in Deer Park and went to school here throughout my public education. I graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake where I got my Bachelor's in Finance. Shortly after, I became certified to teach early childhood through grade 6. I grew up with my mother, father, and grandmother all being teachers, so it was only a matter of time before I followed in their footsteps. 
In my free time I love to hang out with my adorable rescue dog, try new vegan foods, and spend time with my family and friends.  
 
I look forward to helping your child grow and doing whatever I can to help them succeed!
