Welcome to Mrs. Cousar's Page!

Hi! My name is Bethany Cousar, and I’m thrilled to be teaching the PASS and BEST programs this year at SJE. I graduated from Deer Park High School in 2017 and earned my degree from Texas State University in 2020. I’m certified in elementary education, special education, and English as a Second Language.

The PASS program supports students both behaviorally and academically within the general education setting, while the BEST program helps students with Autism thrive alongside their peers. I’m passionate about helping students learn to manage their emotions, build coping skills, and grow into confident learners who can succeed in school and in life.

I’m excited for the school year ahead and look forward to making meaningful connections with my students and their families!
