Dear Families,
Read Across America Week kicks off the first week of March. We have some fun dress-up days planned, and we would love your child to showcase their favorite book that week. To do this, we have compiled a list of AT-HOME projects you may want to participate in to contribute to our BOOK TASTING. We will showcase the project during the week of February 27- March 3 for students to see, and during our Sock Hop event that Thursday for all families to enjoy.
*All projects must include: a picture of the book cover (or the actual book), the title of the book, the author, a summary, why your child loves that book, and who might be interested in reading it next! Projects are due to your classroom teacher by February 24. All project participants will be entered into a grade-level drawing for a book token to our new BOOK VENDING MACHINE! (1 winner per grade level)
